Trans Family Support Services

TransFamily Support Services guide transgender/non-binary youth and their families through the gender transitioning process to help make it the most positive experience possible. We provide family coaching, assistance with healthcare and insurance issues, help navigating the legal system, and support at schools. All services are provided at no fee.

Operation HOPE – North County

At Operation HOPE-North County, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing safe shelter, vital reosurces, and compassionate support to families and individuals in need. Through empowerment, advocacy, and community collaboration, we help our residents regain stability and build a parth toward self-sufficiency. We envision a region where individuals experiencing homelessness are not defined by their circumstances but are instead embraced with empathy, respect, and the tools to regain their independence.

North County LGBTQ Resource Center

The North County LGBTQ Resource Center is a 501(c)3 organization that serves the lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, and questioning (LGBTQ) community of North County San Diego. Our service area includes the communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Fallbrook, Camp Pendleton, and other outlying areas. Our mission is to serve, empower, and advocate for North County’s diverse LGBTQI community. We envision a community where everyone lives in equality, feeling accepted, valued, safe and free from social stigma.

National Center for Conflict and Resolution (NCRC)

We empower individuals, organizations, and communities with the skills and resources needed to address conflict, intolerance, and incivility in our society. Built on the principle that every dispute has a solution, the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) serves a variety of communities in both the public and private sectors — regionally, nationally, and internationally. Our mission is to resolve issues with the highest possible degree of civility and equitability to all parties involved.

Jewish Family Services of San Diego

CSU San Marcos U-ACT

Led by North San Diego County AA & NHPI organizations and community members, with CSUSM APIDA faculty members, Drs. Theresa Suarez (Sociology), Madeline Lee (Social Work), and Christina Holub (Public Health), the U-ACT Project is funded by the California Department of Social Services “Stop the Hate” Grant Program, in partnership with Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties.

Council on American-Islamic Relations, San Diego (CAIR)

CAIR-SD is the San Diego office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, California, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building Muslim civic engagement and education, providing pro-bono and low-cost legal services to members of the community who experience hate or discrimination, and advocating for social justice through government advocacy.

Boys & Girls Club of Northwest San Diego
