Pillars of the Community
Pillars of the Community is an organization where community members come together to learn about one another, foster relationships, and mobilize for community change and social justice. We advocate for communities and people negatively impacted by law enforcement and the punishment system and are committed to embracing and celebrating the historic, rich, and diverse culture of Southeast San Diego and communities like it across the United States. We strive to counter the criminalization of our neighborhoods through community organizing, leadership development, policy work, and strategic partnerships. Our vision is for healthy and thriving communities which reflect the rich and diverse culture of all its members that centers and supports those left behind by the “American dream.”
Asian Solidarity Collective
Asian Solidarity Collective is a San Diego-based community organization focused on supporting and empowering formerly incarcerated, practicing cross-racial solidarity, and rapid response. Through multimedia training, creative re-entry programs, and rapid response. We work from a foundation of community, solidarity, and lived experience. With intention, we strive to create a future where all peoples can live in society with dignity, support, and the tools to succeed in a creative and purposeful life.
Boys & Girls Club of Northwest San Diego
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego is to inspire, develop, and enrich young people to reach their fullest potential as confident, responsible, caring members of society.
